projection mapping as part of a stage design
Premiere 8 October 2019 / Theater Nestroyhof Hamakom
For the stage design of the piece “Der letzte Mensch” (Philipp Weiss), a video concept was developed in collaboration with Ingrid Lang (direction) and Vincent Mesnaritsch (stage design) that employed the technique of object-adapted projection onto a cube and a mirror surface. The cube (s≈3 m), playable on the inside, was projected onto from two sides in an object-adapted manner. The projection in the mirror surface (≈12 m × 3 m) was realised via a projection onto the floor, which — like the performers — was reflected in the seemingly floating mirror surface tilted towards the audience.
