For Parallel Vienna 2025 — the fair’s 13th edition, its third at the Otto Wagner Areal (10–14 September 2025) — Hand mit Auge (Jakob Hütter, Jakob Figo, Martin Winterleitner) realised a video installation in the Otto-Wagner-Theater, the Jugendstiltheater that serves as the fair’s central entrée.

Four custom-made voile fabrics (4 × 2.5 m each, semi-transparent) were hung in portrait orientation in a zigzag across the theatre space and driven by four 10,000-lumen projectors. The voile’s translucency lets the projections shine through the staggered surfaces, creating spatial depth.

By day, a generative light installation ran: images were converted into point clouds drawing trails, with a different camera perspective on each fabric. Daytime playback ran on a custom TouchDesigner patch. At the opening on 10 September and the closing on 14 September — the fair’s two party nights with performances and live acts across two floors of the Jugendstiltheater — the team performed live visuals on the installation.
