Sanatorium in Transition

In an intensive collaborative process, a transmedia performance was developed – a collective organism in permanent transformation.

Feedback and singing, through sound sculptures distributed across the space, create a harsh, hard-to-control carpet of sound.

Object-adapted images are generated from the sound image, intervening with the sculptural form and the spatial architecture.

The procession is led by the founder of Sonnenland, Ykmann, who – transformatively, in three acts with movement, sound, masks and essences – slowly but surely distances herself from the place and takes her leave.
