Liquid Truth — Uhrturm Graz Medientechnische Realisation | Elevate Festival 2019
Für das Elevate Festival 2019 verwandelte die generative Datenskulptur Liquid Truth das Grazer Wahrzeichen in einen Echtzeit-Spiegel des digitalen Wahrheitsdiskurses: Die Arbeit von schnelle bunte bilder (Berlin), entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit Knoth & Renner, übersetzte Twitter-Daten zu #truth und #fake live in eine pulsierende Projektion auf zwei Seiten des mittelalterlichen Uhrturms.
Hand mit Auge verantwortete die gesamte medientechnische Realisation vor Ort: Planung und Organisation der beiden Projektionstürme am Schloßberg, Errichtung der wetterfesten Beamerstandorte, Installation und Einrichtung der Hochleistungsprojektoren, das präzise zweiseitige Mapping auf die historische Architektur mit ihren Zifferblättern sowie die laufende technische Betreuung über die gesamte Festivaldauer — bei Wind, Schnee und Grazer Winternächten.
Die künstlerische Produktion lag vollständig bei schnelle bunte bilder; unsere Aufgabe war es, dem Werk im öffentlichen Raum eine verlässliche technische Bühne zu bauen — vom Stahlgerüst bis zum letzten Pixel auf dem Zifferblatt.
Im Rahmen des Festivals übernahm Hand mit Auge zusätzlich die Videoregie des Elevate-Bühnenprogramms, u. a. mit Stargast Pamela Anderson.

Liquid Truth — Clock Tower Graz Technical Realisation | Elevate Festival 2019
For Elevate Festival 2019, the generative data sculpture Liquid Truth turned Graz’s most iconic landmark into a real-time mirror of the digital truth debate: created by schnelle bunte bilder (Berlin) in collaboration with Knoth & Renner, the work translated live Twitter data on #truth and #fake into a pulsating projection across two faces of the medieval clock tower.
Hand mit Auge was responsible for the complete on-site technical realisation: planning and organisation of the two projection towers on the Schloßberg, construction of weatherproof projector positions, installation and alignment of the high-output projectors, precise two-sided mapping onto the historic architecture and its clock faces, and continuous technical operation throughout the festival — through wind, snow and Graz winter nights.
The artistic production was entirely in the hands of schnelle bunte bilder; our task was to build a reliable technical stage for the work in public space — from the steel scaffolding to the last pixel on the dial.
As part of the festival, Hand mit Auge additionally provided live video direction for the Elevate stage programme, including special guest Pamela Anderson.
